Thirty five minutes south of Adelaide and 20 minutes to some of the finest beaches in Australia, Clarendon is an ideal base from which to explore more than 60 world class wineries and a plethora of local craft and food outlets. A veritable feast for the eyes as well as the palate!
Popular for weddings, the pretty township boasts several dining venues, all within walking distance! Clarendon is also home to the famous Clarendon Bakery, a favourite stop for visitors to the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Steeped in history and amusing folklore Clarendon boasts many buildings of historic significance including the oldest continually operated general store in South Australia. Within easy driving distance visitors can enjoy wineries, the Onkaparinga National Park, Mt. Bold Reservoir and Kuitpo Forest (part of the Heysen Trail).
